Study Objective

To evaluate efficacy and safety of olopatadine mometasone combination Vs its individual components in Chinese SAR patients.

Results

Superior Nasal Symptom Relief Vs Monotherapies

The Olopatadine + Mometasone combination showed significant improvements in average 12-hour rTNSS from baseline to Day 14 compared to Olopatadine (OLO) and Mometasone Furoate (MF) alone (P < 0.0001).

Benefits were seen from Day 1 through Day 14, indicating a rapid onset with sustained relief.

Olopatadine + Mometasone combination significantly improved all individual reflective nasal symptoms during the 14-day treatment period (P < 0.05).

Better Ocular Symptom Relief

Olopatadine + Mometasone combination significantly improved average A.M. and P.M. rTOSS (reflective Total Ocular Symptom Score; P = 0.0335 vs OLO and P = 0.0004 vs MF)

Benefits were seen from Day 1 through Day 14, indicating a rapid onset with sustained relief.

Olopatadine + Mometasone combination significantly improved most reflective ocular symptoms vs monotherapies (P < 0.05).

Better Quality of Life

Significant improvement in Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire (RQLQ) score at Day 15 was reported (P < 0.0001 vs OLO and P = 0.0058 vs MF).

Anti-Inflammatory Biomarker Benefits

Exploratory analysis showed that IL-5, ECP levels significantly reduced with Olopatadine + Mometasone combination.

Compared with Mometasone Furoate or Olopatadine monotherapy, Olopatadine + Mometasone combination demonstrated superior efficacy with favorable tolerability, delivering statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in patients with moderate-to-severe SAR.
